BEER & Cocktail RELEASES
Ren Faire Wheat — First Weekend of Sept Brewed for the Randle Ren Faire, this American wheat ale was made with small amounts of orange peel and coriander to highlight the light, floral malt character of genuine Washington wheat. Smooth and unfiltered, it's a satisfying beer start to finish. 5% ABV
Ren Faire IPA — First Weekend of Sept
We used the new Kush hop from the Hop Breeding Program to brew this light and fruity experimental IPA for the Faire. Crisp and easy drinking, with loads of passionfruit and guava in the nose. 6% ABV
Märzen — Oktoberfest Weekend, 9/19 An elegant, malty German amber lager with a clean, rich, toasty and bready malt flavor, restrained bitterness, and a dry finish. Brewed with European Saaz and Tettnang hops. Märzen means "March" in German, but ours was brewed this past July. 6% ABV
Fest Bier — Oktoberfest Weekend, 9/19 A lighter, crisper take on Oktoberfest lagers, our Fest Bier is a gold-colored German lager with a smooth, malty flavor and a soft, dry finish. Subtle floral hops and restrained bitterness keep the balance malty but not sweet, making this a refreshing, easy-drinking beer. 5% ABV
Fresh Hop DIPA — 3rd Week of September Once again we traveled to Harrah, Washington to visit RnR Hop Ranches for the finest freshly harvested hops from this year's crop. Featuring over 50 lbs of wet hops — both locally grown and from the east side of the mountains — this Double IPA brings a big burst of citrus with a strong tropical fruit note. 9% ABV
Frozen Mudslide — Date TBD Creamy, boozy, and dangerously easy to drink — this frosty treat is what happens when a cocktail and a milkshake fall in love. Rich, indulgent, and the perfect cozy sip as the weather cools down.

OUR STORY
independent- and brewer-owned & operated
Co-founders, and husband and wife team, Peter Charbonnier and Amy Besunder opened Populuxe Brewing in 2012 in the bucolic beer mecca of Ballard, WA. Peter had been an award-winning home brewer and the two were inspired to see if they could turn his hobby into a business. The response was overwhelmingly positive and in 2016, they expanded to a larger facility. Many awards were won, including the prestigious Small Brewery of the Year (2018). More importantly, a community was built, and great friends and memories were made.
In 2019, as COVID-19 took hold of the country, the couple retreated to their home in Packwood, WA. Members of the community since 2008, it had long been their dream to live there, full-time. In the wake of a global pandemic, they threw caution to the wind, sold the brewery and pulled up stakes planning to “find some low-stress jobs and enjoy the good life.” That lasted a few months till they were approached by some neighbors. There was an awesome and empty building crying out for a new life on the edge of town and a supportive community who were thirsty for some locally brewed beer. And so, Longmire Springs Brewing was born.
